Lovely imagery on the packaging, bad poor orientation of the sleeves within each other - the gatefold slides out of the box DOWNWARD which could easily lead to accidental dropping as you remove the box from the shelf. Included in the collection are a green 8-inch SuperJanky figure (limited to 1200), a red SuperJanky figure (limited to 200), and a black SuperJanky figure (limited to 500).

Kiss Land also saw Abel Tesfaye take more creative control, producing the record almost entirely himself, with additional contributions by DannyBoyStyles, Sebastian Tellier, frequent Action Bronson collaborator, Harry Fraud and Pharrell. It also has moments of insight and candor; The Weeknd's lyrical acumen allows him to starkly drift between aggressive intimacy, addiction, and vulnerability—leading to complex chaos in a modern world reflected in tiny, tightly strewn, modern love joints.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of this album when it first came out; I preferred the Trilogy and subsequent BBtM around this time, kind of ignoring Kissland. The album's production was primarily handled by DannyBoyStyles, The Weeknd himself and Jason "DaHeala" Quenneville, among others. Each figure stands tall at eight inches, and dons a custom tail as well as a trippy set of removable VR goggles atop 3D eyes. While the original pressing of The Weeknd's Kiss Land was released in 2013, this special Green Translucent Vinyl edition was released in November of 2018 to help celebrate the five-year anniversary of the album. However, that is the only decent thing about it because when you play it, it sounds like a bootleg copy of the album.
