Do you think those windows open to outside or to the inner part of the castle? I'm getting totally turned around in here. This castle really is huge. All the torches hanging over there... Doesn't their pattern strike you as sort of suspicious? It's almost as if there's a hidden meaning there. What do you say we try to remember it? It is one of three settings with this property, alongside Mario Circuit and Rainbow Road. Unlike them, this even extends to titles outside the main series. Super Mario Kart introduces three Bowser's Castles, while Mario Kart: Super Circuit introduces four. While Mario Kart Tour does not introduce a fully unique Bowser's Castle course, it does feature RMX Bowser's Castle 1, a remix course based on Super Circuit's versions, particularly GBA Bowser's Castle 1. In the center of that, you’ll notice a gap in the spikes and directly ahead of it, golden rings you can jump through. Falling through the rings, you’ll be at an area with a poison swamp and an Ogre. If you face southeast, you’ll notice a tier below you with a catapult. Drop down to that area and take the catapult to the other side of the structure. Capture the Pokio so you can have safe passage through the Spinies and so you can climb the wall that’s behind them. From there, you’ll find a series of rotating walls that the Pokio can grab with its beak. Make your way to the top to find a secret treasure vault with this moon and a ton of coins.

There is a total of 255 coins in the room, referencing a common hard limit in video games using 8-bit storage (and as such, the amount of coins the player could carry before glitching the game in Super Mario 64, among others).

Taking Notes: In the Folding Screen: While in the 2-D puzzle for moon 31, you’ll come across a screen with a music note. Down and Up the Spinning Tower: From the Beneath the Keep warp point, face southwest so you’re facing the structure that is lined with yellow spikes. In the center of that, you’ll notice a gap in the spikes and directly ahead of it, golden rings you can jump through. Falling through the rings, you’ll be at an area with a poison swamp and an Ogre. Kill the Ogre, which will open a massive doorway nearby. Enter the door to get into this puzzle room. While climbing the rotating tower for moon 33, before making your way to the top, make your way behind the platform. From there, you’ll notice an opening at the bottom center. Drop down and exit the Pokio to land inside this room safely. In there is a key. Once you grab it, another power moon will appear on top of the platform. Mario and Luigi can get these by hitting "□, □, ○, △, △, △" in the Bowser Secret Society Preservation Chamber and fighting the Shroobs. In The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Bowser's Castle is located on a giant floating airship (referred to as Bowser's ship by Cranky Kong, Bowser's airship in the bonus features, [2] and Bowser's Island Castle in a Jakks Pacific playset) [3] that Bowser and his forces use to travel between kingdoms. The ship consists of a volcano and lava similar to those seen in the Dark Lands, as well as a massive figurehead depicting Bowser's head and a giant pool of lava, resembling depictions of Bowser's Castle from Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, respectively, complete with Spike Balls attached to chains like the former acting as anchors to help it descend. Additionally, the volcano's crater, as seen during Peach and Bowser's wedding held at the castle, is later revealed to also double as a missile silo used to launch the Bomber Bill Bowser plans to use to destroy the Mushroom Kingdom once the wedding gets thwarted by the heroes. Whoa! This corridor has much lower ceilings, huh? I guess I had gotten used to really high ceilings.Artwork shown before fighting the Gauntlet version in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey
