About this deal

The scent seemed very sweet, decidedly oriental, opulent, intoxicating, and I was a little perplexed. I'm hit or miss with sweet ambers like these and Altamir works for when I want to let my inner "cologne guy" out, although I suggest sampling if you're unsure.

His line-up of men's fragrances now carries on his legacy, celebrating the modern man, each one unveiling a surprisingly complex olfactory pyramid. The sweetness, the amber and musk are also there, but also notes like orange blossom, which makes this fragrance softer and more elegant. All in all, however, a noble fragrance, which you can also wear well in the evening, but also like its twin in nightlife. It smelled of flowers and blossoms as well as juicy-fruity, intensely honey-sweet and a little woodsy-spicy.

The neroli ends up stealing the focus from the pineapple, as the warm jasmine indole swimming in ethyl maltol vanilla of the heart takes over. Now I can detect some vetiver and musk, but I think it is at this stage that the scent will run for a while.

He was sure he had not forgotten this defining ingredient, and the smell on the flask left little doubt. The opening is a sweet blast of neroli and pineapple, the last one reminding me most of Lapidus pour Homme, the former reminding me of Nikos, but also oddly of the as-yet-created Maison Francis Kurkdjian APOM pour Homme (2009). The fragrance description and Pyramid of Altamir reads to my nose like a weekend trip to the Italian coast around Venice. This fragrance is very masculine and sensual scent with moderate to heavy sillage and long-lasting abilities, this fragrance is best worn on a casual or romantic night out. Altamir is a fascinating perfume and yet still made it to the market in 2007 under the label of Ted Lapidus, even without vanilla. In addition, with an interesting fragrance pyramid and with 25-30 euros for the 125ml bottle extremely inexpensive.

He became more important in 1960, when French celebrities such as Brigitte Bardot, Françoise Hardy, and Alain Delon began wearing his designs. The Altamir doesn't quite come close to my taste, but it seems more noble, more masculine and not quite as playful and offensive. A brief rain shower as well as the sun piercing through again caused the air to billow and the floral scent to run free.A warm, glowing-orange amber that reminds me of Palomo Picasso Minotaur and Maison Francis Kurkdjian A. Nowadays, the Ted Lapidus brand is particularly well known for its fashion accessories, watches, and acclaimed perfumes, which are definitely worth a try! Unless you prefer to opt for the legendary scents of Jean Paul Gaultier, Calvin Klein, Cerruti or Chloé? The bottom line is you get mostly an amber fragrance with patchouli, musk, and tonka in a creamy-sweet neroli-forward bomb that will only feel moderate in wear during the coldest winter. As for the base, this is sweet tonka, chocolaty patchouli, a dirty musk, and a slightly woody rounded amber.

Still somewhat confused, he filled a small bottle and wrote on the label "Altamir" in reference to the mysterious, prehistoric cave of Altamira, which hides no vanilla treasures, but unique, millennia-old, stone-age murals. Not only did he feel a bit stronger again health-wise, no, a long-awaited sense of accomplishment provided renewed courage and confidence in life.
