About this deal

I have to award a tie because both headphones are nearly identical in design and functionality. Everything from their ear cups and connective yolk to the stitching on their headbands is comparable. Functionality wise, they both offer the same features. While playing Eve online, the audio reproduced was excellent. As I warped from system to system fighting would-be thieves, the audio of my thrusters rumbled perfectly, and the explosions of enemy ships were absolute perfection going from hard lows to expanding highs without any distortion.

I like the wireless capabilities of the HS70 headset, and they work well when seated and gaming. However, they consistently drop when I move away from the transmitter. Furthermore, the HS170 are only compatible with PC, PS4, and PS5, which is ideal for my setup but may not be for yours. Sound Quality Comparing sound quality on PC Logitech G Pro X It feels that Bluetooth wireless is the new wave for headphones. It eliminates the use of a cord which can sometimes yank the headphones off your head. However, I am always skeptical about wireless headphones connection quality but was proven wrong in my last review. After I set everything up and turned it on, it just took a few seconds for the headset to be recognized by either my PC or PS4 (whichever the USB dongle was plugged into). On the PS4 I had to go in to the audio devices settings to change the output to headphones from only chat audio to all audio. When testing it using the "chat only" option for my PS4 I found the HS70 wasn't fully sound isolating, but they covered my ears enough that with game sounds coming from my home theater speakers I missed a good bit of detail, thereby not utilizing the headset to its full potential. Control simplicity is an important factor when it comes to wireless headphones. The HS70 Pro Wireless controls are easily understood, intuitive to locate, and not overcrowded with options. Comfort Comfortable memory foam ear cups. Both headphones perform similarly on console. In fact, they’re nearly identical, resulting in a tie. Overall Winner

It’s not often that I come across headphones with comparable – and impressive – build quality. Every G Pro X and HS70 Pro Wireless component is made of high-quality materials. No part feels flimsy or like it will break, and I’m sure you can put both of these headphones through the wringer before they will fail. Mic Quality Logitech G Pro X Corsair are one of the leading manufactures of high-performance gear and technology for gamers. The brand was founded in 1994 by Andy Paul, Don Leiberman, and John Beekley and grew into one of the largest developers in the gaming industry today. Tie: [Logitech G Pro X & Corsair HS70 Pro Wireless] Design and Functionality Verdict Top down look at both headphones. The HS70 have all their features on the underside of the ear cups. The left ear cup features a volume dial, mute mic button, USB charging port, and removable microphone. The power on/off button is located on the right ear cup.The headband is very durable and shows great resistance when stretched out but is still bendable. The aluminum yolks that connect the headband with the ear cups are also top quality and I’m not worried about breaking them. On top of this, the hinges on the headband are metal which are of a quality that I haven’t found on other pairs of headphones. The G Pro X does not have 7.1 surround sound for console gaming. This makes my experience playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare less immersive. However, the headset still does a good job of separating the lows, mids, and highs. The G Pro X lose immersion and sound direction on console.
