About this deal

I've read pretty much all of the Harley Laroux books but this one is definitely in my top 1 right next to the souls trilogy! This book contains graphic sexual scenes, intense sequences of BDSM, graphic violence, and strong language. I’m sure there are way more, but these are the ones I found when reading, which didn’t bother me one bit. These boys found their family, and it was them, but now they hope Jessica will be a part of their family, too.

Jessica realizes in this book how the town sees them, and now that she is hanging out with them more, she sees them as who they are, which is why it’s hard for her not to stay away. If there is one of many reasons why I enjoyed this book, it was how the four boys were a family, and you could tell they cared for each other in their own ways. For one night I gave myself over to the men I wasn’t supposed to want and satisfied the darkest parts of my soul. In this book, they treat you way better than the rest of the town, even if you act like a brat at first with the boys. Getting that sad look off your face," he said, smiling at me crookedly as he stopped next to my bed.

He glanced over his shoulder at me with a grin, his long hair messily tied up as he added another pancake to the stack in front of him. His backstory with his conservative parents was so well done and it added so much more to his character. Although not required, it is recommended to listen to the novella The Dare before listening to Losers. The characters are beautiful, the story has been a rollercoaster and even some parts had me on the edge of my seat in suspense. Also also, I need to see Vincent hang someone from the ceiling rn, all that bark and no bite, it better be in the next book.

I really liked how Laroux held it here at this intersection, trapping Jess with guys who are simultaneously mean and vengeful but also sweet and devoted to her. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. I don’t want to spoil anything but this book is a whole lot spicier than the dare was, and I thought that was pretty impossible. There's a sense of dubcon overlaying the characters' interactions - Jess here winds up in a relationship with them in exchange for them fixing her car - but it's just enough to lend spice to the book, rather than pushing it over the line into being a dark romance. Later, I came across Anne Rice's novels at my public library when I was fourteen when my obsession with vampires started. The one night of wanton abandon Jess experiences in The Dare is nothing more than an appetiser in comparison to the full course meal of kink, love and self-exploration we are treated to with Losers: Part 1! I felt for Jessica’s character and what she was put through with her a-hole friends and even her mother. Without these technologies, things like personalized recommendations, your account preferences, or localisation may not work correctly. Jess is a tough nut to crack, all her life she’s had to be “perfect”, cheerleading captain, the most popular girl but behind all that is just a girl who wants to feel loved. A while back I read Harley Laroux’s short story The Dare about Jessica, a former cheerleader and prom queen who’s reunited on Halloween with her onetime victim, Manson.
