About this deal

I am in love with the writing, with the story and the characters, the way the plot is created and the way the reader is involved in the action. Sylvain pulled out all of the stops in this new installment and I'll be honest, I didn't stop once until the pages quit turning.

In this, much less intense, installation of Gabriel and Julianne, we see them navigating married life as new parents.Once again, there are numerous comparisons of, and references to Dante’s Inferno and the Divine Comedy, Purgatorio and Paradiso, as is to be expected from our leading couple, as well as the author Sylvain Reynard.

I liked the bond of friendship with Nicholas Cassirer (main character of The Man in the Black Suit) brought as a cross play by the author. Gabriele's Promise it’s an intimate look on Gabriel and Julia's marriage, we get to dive deeper into their lives now as a married couple and with a beautiful daughter. They have just had their first child and while trying to figure out how to parent and continue with their careers, they have to navigate being married too. Gabriel has vowed to be a good father when he suddenly receives an invitation to give a series of lectures in Edinburgh, Scotland–an opportunity of high prestige—but that would mean leaving his wife and child in Boston. Não recomendo a coleção a quem detesta homens de nariz empinado ricos e não gostava de analisar clássicos nas aulas. She and Clare are the centers of his world, and he would stop at nothing to guard them, even sacrificing himself if necessary. In Gabriel's Promise we see how their family is evolving with their beautiful little girl, Clare, but some things are still what we have come to expect and love. But in Gabriel’s Promise, Julianne steps up and starts being more assertive with herself, her family, and her career. While I was very happy that Sylvain Reynard wrote this 4th book, I had been content with the completion of the trilogy. I may not have loved the plot of ”GABRIEL’S PROMISE”, but I still have so much love for Professor Emerson. But then I found another version (in English) and this time the translation really worked for me and I really enjoyed it.
