It provides an instant feedback velocity reading, without the need to look away from your scope – as the FX Chronograph Display is mounted either under the scope on the FX Impact, or on the side accessory rail on other rifles using a picatinny adapter. Capable of recording velocities from 400-4000FPS it has applications for both Airguns and full bore rifles alike. For those of you that have access to a 3D printer we now offer you to use our mount design for Maverick and Wildcat. You do require a Smart Phone, which is up to date in the last few years to run the app that connects to the unit.

It can be clipped directly onto any picatinny rail or remove the picatinny adapter and slot direct onto the rear rail of the FX Impact. Plus, the export of complete profile and session data to the clipboard; and not having the app drop the Bluetooth connection each time you switch profiles, or open another window on your phone, a small thing, but properly annoying!

The chronograph radar unit is very compact and has an advantage over the previous FX model and that it’s doesn’t require batteries just a lead and charger which isn’t supplied. Such chronographs can be rather finicky about the surrounding light sources in the room or the amount of light available. Since the FX Pocket Chronograph v2 uses radar technology, it will work in any weather conditions, even complete darkness. It makes a mockery if you move it and it alters the reading because you have no way of knowing which is the optimum position and which reading to believe. The shape of the curve fit becomes more critical the further away the pellet is befoe the radar detects it and gives sensible data. I assume that telling it which type of pellet ( Diablo, Pointed etc ) is because it uses different 'Curves' for different pellets.
