While you’ll never be able to ram an entire side of beef into it, it’s big enough to handle most typical smoking and grilling assignments, including large brisket.

On any kamado, this one included, you do need to be careful not to overshoot your target temperature. The high-fired ceramic sides just hold the heat so well that it takes a long time to cool down if you do get the grill too hot.
